Yesterday, the entire student body of Jacksonville High School and Kitty Stone Elementary lined the streets to welcome home Ben Tomlinson. He is a great hero. I'm so thankful that everyone pitched in and made him feel special. People don't realize what an amazing feat it is to go and fight for our country. They go out and fight for you; people that they don't even know. I really hope we made him feel like he made a difference, because he actually did. I am forever thankful.
Isn't it great that all we had to do was express our appreciation with our presence.
