How did you feel about the Accreditation visitors? What about the entertainment in the Cafetorium?

Mallory Mcguire, 12th grade: "They didn't really effect me, but I enjoyed the entertainment. It was pleasant."

Chance Marbut, 10th grade: "I never really saw them, but I heard they didn't really do anything. I liked the Jazz Band. They need to do that more often. It was better than hearing people scream across the lunchroom."

Rivan Hill, 7th grade: "Good, I guess. The band was fine."

Gabrielle Peevy, 9th grade: "I didn't even know they were here. The band was loud, but good."

Alexis Paige, 8th grade: "Well, I don't think it was a problem, because we have a great school! I think the Jazz Band  was awesome, and we should do it more often."

Brooke Kozinski, 11th grade: "I'm indifferent. Band was enjoyable. It was fun. I hope they do it again."

Reflection

Yesterday, the entire student body of Jacksonville High School and Kitty Stone Elementary lined the streets to welcome home Ben Tomlinson. He is a great hero. I'm so thankful that everyone pitched in and made him feel special. People don't realize what an amazing feat it is to go and fight for our country. They go out and fight for you; people that they don't even know. I really hope we made him feel like he made a difference, because he actually did. I am forever thankful.

RE: How Do You Feel About EE?

I seem to be getting a lot of comments on the Speak Out about Eagle Empowerment and how there should have been a negative response. I'd just like to say that these people are chosen at random and whether they have a negative response or not is their choice. Though I do agree that a different opinion would have made the article less biased, I don't have a lot to work with. There would be no way to have a full length conversation because there's not enough time. If you have a negative opinion about Eagle Empowerment, please feel free to comment. That's what this blog is all about.
Also, if you have any suggestions for questions, please comment!:)

Mr. Brian Boozer

Mr. Brian Boozer has acquired quite a title at Jacksonville High School. The boy from “The Bluff” is a well-rounded jack-of-all-trades.  At Hokes Bluff, he was a quarter back for two years and a second baseman for three, where he set records in both. He’s been acting since the age of four, which led to him signing a drama scholarship. When Mr. Boozer was a junior, he won Best Supporting Actor in Etowah County. In 1995, Boozer graduated as Mr. HBHS (Hokes Bluff High School). After four years of college, he moved to Atlanta. There, a talent scout spotted him and that began his professional acting career. He was in Road Trip, Remember the Titans, several commercials, and countless plays. “Before the beard and gut,” he even did some modeling. He was the head writer for some comedy sketches and even had some picked up by Saturday Night Live. Mr. Boozer has done two or more shows a year for 22 consecutive years. Mr. Boozer even met his wife at a show.
Mr. Boozer graduated from college with a degree in drama and will graduate next year with a Master’s in English Arts. After that, he “will never step foot on a college campus again!” He taught Drama to individuals at several different schools in Atlanta for five years. He taught at Munford last year. That was his first year to teach officially. “I heard a lot of good things about Jacksonville High School and its community, and I wanted to be part of The Jacksonville Legacy.”  In his spare time, Mr. Boozer likes to go to concerts and hike the Appalachian Trail with his wife. He does not like country or rap, but he is a fan of The Beatles. Good luck to you at Jacksonville High School, Mr. Boozer.
